It poured rain for most of today - the first day of Fall 2011. When I finally ventured out to meet a friend in Chelsea for dinner - my subway train stopped for 30 minutes somewhere underground near 59th street! While I've felt somewhat under house arrest today - I look forward to many long walks under the turning leaves of New York City.
